A perfect day filled with joy, good company, delicious food and most importantly, love.
It was a calm summer afternoon on the open plains of Saratoga. He brushed away the tears from his eyes as his beautiful bride walked down the isle to meet him at the altar. With their dogs, Honey and Nixon, by their side, they spoke heartfelt vows and tears were shed. It was there under swaying cottonwoods and the swift North Platte River, that Jacquelyn and Christopher, a couple so deeply in love, became husband and wife.
Jacquelyn and Christopher wed on the small island behind their home, in a grove of cottonwoods and surrounded by the arms of the North Platte River. Hay bales covered with furs and blankets provided comfy seating for their family and friends, while yard games, a roaring fire, and cool beverages waited at the reception area, just across the bridge of the river.
The rest of the evening was spent making memories that would last a lifetime. All around you could feel the love, happiness, and joy of everyone in attendance. It was a lighthearted and casual celebration that perfectly captured the newlyweds love for each other and their exuberance for life.
As the sun set, its last light turned the sandstone cliffs bright orange and red. It was a beautiful backdrop for their first dance. With family and friends watching from the west, and blooming sage on the east, Jaquelyn and Christopher danced together for the first time as husband and wife. Truly the perfect end to the perfect day.
