Today I’m blogging images from the Romero’s mountaintop session and talking a little about life and how it can be surprising and sweet and not always whats expected all at the same time. Be sure to scroll through the images at the bottom, you wont want to miss this knockout-karate-chop-combo of stunning setting and happy family that is the Romero’s.
You know, I’ve been spending a lot of time lately thinking about what I want my life to look like.
There is a big push online to ‘be you’ and be authentic and all the other things that life requires creator/reader/wife/friend/daughter/sister/entrepreneur/girl boss. I admire those who can clearly define themselves and go all in.
It’s hard for me. I don’t fully know enough about myself to be just one thing. The truth is, I love all the things!!
When I was a kid I told my parents I would one day live in a hotel. Where the beds are made for you and the bathrooms are always clean. Well, I did it. For one whole month we lived in a hotel, And it wasn’t as awesome as I expected. I found myself pining for a kitchen of my own, a comfy couch to curl up on, and a yard to garden in.
I said I would be an adventurer and I’d go places no person had ever been before. I’d work for National Geographic and travel the globe. But, pajamas, pets, and photographs are filling my days lately and I’m finding that I’m more contented with weekend trips to the mountains, quiet days creating artwork, and evenings with friends then I ever imagined.
In 2017, I’m looking forward to more travel, more mountain adventures, more cuddle time with Jake & Netflix, and adding more destination weddings to my calendar…. but most of all, more wonderful couples sessions like these!
