For their engagement session Leslie and Jarod wanted snow and mountains. We got all we could handle of both -and more- it was SO beautiful! For their session we met at the Green Rock Trailhead, just below where they close the road for the season in the Snowy Mountain Range in Medicine Bow National Forest. The weather was beautiful and clear, and in typical Snowies fashion the air was crisp and the wind cheery. So much so that we retreated down the mountain do Barber Lake Rd to watch the sunset. We were not disappointed.
Leslie and Jarod are studying at University of Wyoming and came to Laramie from Casper to build their lives together. These two love mountains, camping, crime TV(Olivia Benson fans unite!), but most of all each other.
Jarod popped the question in May beneath a waterfall, completely surprising Leslie – A story they will tell and cherish for years to come. They hope to wed next summer, no doubt with the love of their family and friends lifting them up.

A little glow of sunshine through the pines makes all the difference.

Leslie is a true beauty and has the most lovely smile… just look at that sparkle!

We grabbed a blanket and they snuggled to keep warm as we watched the sun set below the Snowy Range Mountains.

We walked back as the last flecks of light shone through the pines.

Can you see the heart?
