Thunder roared as they stood under the altar. Just moments after her parents put her hand in his, the drops started to fall. The officiant asked if they wanted to move the wedding inside. In response, the bride and groom looked at each other and as they did, big, heavy, raindrops started crashing down. Nodding yes, they took each other’s hand and started to run.
As they left their wedding guests behind the rain fell faster and harder. Once inside they embraced and as they stood, surrounded by their closest family and friends, they started to laugh.
It wasn’t how they planned their wedding to start, but did it really matter? In a moment they would prove that it didn’t.
With spirits high Anna & Eric would pledge their love and lives to each other, standing inside, the walls of the stone building pushing them just a little closer to the family and friends who had traveled so far to show their love for the newlyweds.
Anna & Eric married at the Ivinson Mansion & Laramie Plains Museum with tree lined gardens and under the stone mansion towers. They promised to love each other, not just through words, but through actions. Long days at work, sunny skies or rain, and a British Columbia honeymoon on the horizon, but little mattered more than their love for each other.
Anna & Eric,
Thank you for the honor of documenting your beautiful wedding day. You gathered your closest friends and families around you for a weekend of fun in the town that brought you together.
