Can you imagine meeting your soul mate in MIDDLE SCHOOL?!
Kati & Ben met in Middle School when they discovered that they share the same birthday and immediately started planning a joint birthday party… and they have been best friends ever since! Through the awkward teenage years, first dances and first cars, they remained the closest friends. They started dating towards the end of high school… and who can blame them?! It’s clear these two love one another through and through.
Ben proposed to Kati on a hiking trip in the mountains of Arizona. Ben planned the perfect moment on a beautiful vista at sunrise… and I dont think Kati could’ve been any happier to say yes!! This lovely couple is building a life and home together in Glenwood Springs (with their snuggly kitty, Smudge) and truly are one of the most genuine and joyful couple’s I’ve had the honor of photographing.
Their wedding was held at Sunlight Mountain Resort in Glenwood Springs, and was full of thoughtful details welcoming their friends and family from afar and was a true expression of their joy for the day and love for each other.
