Unicorns Are Real – The Truth of Being an Entrepreneur
It’s been a heck of a long time since I shared anything personal here. Maybe I’ve been too busy to take the time to share anything about me… but truthfully I’ve known what I want need to say and I’ve been to afraid to say it. I wrote the words below to give as a talk at a women’s event this spring… but, I wasn’t able to deliver then, so i’m sharing now!
You know, social media can really make being an entrepreneur look like unicorns and rainbows when most of the time it’s actually ramen noodles, day old yoga pants, credit card debt, and a messy house while you sit in front of a computer screen for hours.
Spencer & Belen | Notes on living a happy life
Today I’m sharing some notes about life along with images of three of my FAVES! Spencer, Belen & Hendrix are wild and fun, we had such a blast at the Little Sahara Sand Dunes last month. This is the perfect time to post this because the amazing Belen just graduated with her degree in nursing! As someone who totally struggled in school (and never finished), I completely admire Belen doing the work to graduate! I know it took many sleepless nights and lots of hard work Belen, Great work! Congratulations… You da BOMB!
Laramie Pop-up Art Walk 2016
Last Friday evening was the start of the annual Laramie Pop-Up Art Walk, an exciting gallery crawl that takes place in Downtown Laramie, Wyoming.
The Art Walk was put on by the Wyoming Art Party and Laramie Main Street Alliance. Local artists set up displays in various stores, restaurants, offices, and storefronts. Each display was marked with a giant red balloon, from Poppy’s and local musicians and performing artists performed throughout the evening….

Steamboat Lake | Mountains and Things
I lovedlovedloved getting to hang out with my siblings, their spouses, and the furry kids over Memorial day weekend. There isn’t much better than smoreo’s (smore’s made with oreo’s..drool) and laughing around the campfire.
We met in Steamboat Springs, Colorado and went on the hunt for a campsite. After finding that most of the National Park roads were still closed for the winter season we ended up setting up camp at Steamboat Lake State park. The tent sites are on an island, and provide spectacular views of the sunset and sunrise over this gorgeous lake.

Travel posts! Yes, they are a thing. Travel photography is one of my FAVORITE hobbies. I just love photographing the fun places I get to visit. Taking a few quiet moments to explore and enjoy a place is such a fun way to fully appreciate the location you’re in… and the company!
Travel Photography | California. Oh My.
Guys, I understand that i’m THE WORST at blogging. Lately its been months between posts and i’ve got a backlog of amazing clients and photos to share.
If you’re still here looking and reading, from the bottom of my heart I thank you for sticking with me.
I would like to say that i’m turning over a new leaf and it will never happen again. But I wont lie, it might happen again! I’ll just say for now that i’m trying to improve. Its a goal. I have many. <3
I recently took a trip to Northern California, on one of the first day of my trips I had some time to kill and found this amazing small family farm and store in Waterloo, CA. Driving through this town and stepping into this store was like stepping out of time. I loved every minute of it.
