I wont lie, so far 2018 has been rough. Sickness, tooth problems, and isolating wyoming winter weather has had me feeling a little blue.
“Nothing cures a case of the BLUEs like a case of the THANKFULs.” -me, just now.
And guys, when I think about 2017 I’M SO DANG GRATEFUL! It’s a little overwhelming to think about all the awesome people and things that happened in 2017… but scroll down to see some of my favorite moments!
2017 started with snowshoes and snowy mountaintop elopements….
and engagements,

Followed by travel to Running Springs, CA where I learned from the best and the brightest at Yeah Field Trip,
& then off to Hawaii with this cute guy,
and these two.
Then to Utah’s Sand dunes with these cuties…
where things got a little weird in the desert,
And then back to Laramie for a surprise MAY snowstorm and lots of laughs with this beautiful crew.
Every beautiful Sunset along the way, like this one with Desiree & Justin,

and as always, lots of love for snow capped mountains.
Then, we got a little carried away…
and cried when these two got engaged.
We partied in our home town with the best of the best,
Got silly…
and danced… oh-boy did we dance!

Found new mountains to climb (Alta Basin in UTAH! <3)
Ran mid-ceremony from crashing rain…
Received some really awesome hugs(and photographed even better ones too!)
Laughed with the best of the best…
And savored every little moment on Wyoming’s windswept plains.
We watched the sun go down, and stars come out,

And laughed the night away at the most epic parties.

Where we shot lightning bolts from our fingers,
Got lost in Vedauwoo fall fog,

saw the light,
styled pretty things with our faves at Poppy’s,
And watched the sunset at this magical seaside castle in Laguna Beach, CA.
Needless to say, this year was incredible in every way. Our work was featured in nationwide publications including:
Rocky Mountain Bride
Borrowed and Blue
Lemonade & Lenses
Utterly Engaged
Outre Bride
The Knot
Sweetened and Romantic
Wildflowers and Lace
Let’s Bee Together
Cake and Lace
A Northwoods Wedding
Fab You Bliss
Rustic Wedding Chic
All thanks to my wonderful clients, second shooters, Jake(my forever BFF and most-handsome pack mule), and my fantastic assistant & editor, Alyssa! This year wouldn’t have been the same with out you all! I’ve personally experienced so much growth and I CANNOT WAIT for all that 2018 has in store for us.
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you for being here. It isnt enough… but THANK YOU!
Love and SO MUCH APPRECIATION(now let’s freaking celebrate!!), ~Megan
