It was a typical Southern California day on the coast,

the slight overcast morning gave way to bright sunshine as they boarded the ferry.  Sea breezes misted over them as Heather took Gabriels hand, they stood on the deck on the lookout for dolphins and whales as they sped towards Catalina Island… and a new beginning.

The two first met at a place they frequented often, work. A local theatre in Long Beach to be exact. From acquaintances and co-workers, to friends then lovers, these two have a chemistry that is undeniable. They share a love for the outdoors and getting lost in a good book.  Gabriel is thoughtful, charming, and fun, he will have you laughing in a minute,  and Heather is beautiful and passionate, unafraid of the hard work that makes the world a better place.  Together they make the perfect team.

In celebration of their anniversary and true to form, Gabriel planned a romantic getaway filled with kayaking, snorkeling in aqua blue waters, and a stay at the island resort.  Heather was excited for this adventure but little did she know of the surprises in store! 

Their weekend on beautiful Catalina Island turned out better than either had hoped.

Together they basked in the sun’s rays and enjoyed the outdoors and the company. After 6 years together, a son to love, and a home to build, Gabriel couldn’t have chosen a more perfect time or place to propose to his beautiful fiancé.  

Heather and Gabriel chose to have their engagements done at a place that is held near and dear in each of their hearts. A place that brings back special childhood memories. The tide pools. Together we spent the afternoon exploring the coast, wading in water with sand in our toes…. and laughing together way more than usual!
