Music has a long history of connecting souls and bringing people together.
As Lihi walked out on the New England Conservatory stage five years ago, she immediately captured Jacob’s attention. Jacob was intrigued by her passionate musical performance and longed to get to know her. Luckily for him, he soon found himself interviewing Lihi for a student employment position he previously held. Of course, they hit it off instantly. After sharing one magical date together, Jacob went to Wyoming and Lihi was off the Israel for the summer. Rather than letting things fizzle out, they made a point to Skype every day. Upon returning to Boston, Jacob and Lihi joyously reunited and have been together ever since.
Hand in hand, they embraced life as working musicians, art creators, and daring adventurers. They found joy in sharing creative experiences, whether it be attending a glass blowing class or experimenting with a new cuisine. It wasn’t long before Jacob and Lihi both knew they had found an authentic partnership in each other; a true place of peace and happiness. They longed to get married, but no concrete plans had been set. Jacob was ready to propose, but none of his proposal ideas felt right.
As Lihi prepared to depart for Israel once again, Jacob had a crazy thought. What if he flew to Israel to surprise her? The more he thought about it, the more he knew he had to do it! With help from Lihi’s mom and dad, Jacob planned his perfect proposal. With only a handful of people in on the plan, he traveled to a vineyard in Israel where he and Lihi had previously visited, and hid amongst the vines. Lihi was led by her dad to the place where Jacob was hidden, and when she saw him, it was as though time stood still. Jacob got down on one knee and asked for her to be his wife. Through her utter shock and surprise, she managed to say yes!
After careful planning and lots of anticipation, it was at last the day Jacob and Lihi would become husband and wife. Engulfed by Wyoming’s golden plains, the two exchanged their wedding vows among their closest friends and family. They kissed, they laughed, and they partied! It was a night to remember, to say the least.
Jacob & Lihi,
What an honor and a JOY to document your wonderful Wyoming wedding! Wherever this world takes you, I know it’s bound to always be full of love filled laughter, unending adoration from family and friends, and lots of music. Love & Appreciation, ~M
