I adore this mountaintop wedding venue. Its nestled into the hills just minutes from the beautiful Lake Marie and Mirror Lake at the summit of the Medicine Bow Peak.
True to their names the Snowies are still laden with large snow drifts well into July… but snow-drifts or not, these hills are still covered with lovely wildflowers and stunning views! As you drive towards St Alban’s Chapel you’re greeted by Brooklyn Lake on the left and then the St Alban’s Chapel parking area on the right.
This remote wilderness venue does not provide restrooms and the parking is minimal. Should you decide to make this your wedding venue, I highly suggest having guests carpool and providing your own restrooms via a port-a-potty service or an RV. Your reward for working around these issues is amazing views and a quiet remote venue. Really, I’m in love.
The St Albans Chapel in Medicine bow National Forest is the perfect venue for any outdoor enthusiast couple looking for an intimate location for their union.
