I adored photographing this gorgeous wedding at Cheyenne Frontier Days Event center! Complete with a first look, LOADS of dancing, a beautiful venue, and one gorgeous couple… I’m excited to finally share some highlights from this gallery with you and Tayler & Tyler’s sweet story below. 🙂

Just a couple of kids out on the lake.

Tayler met Tyler the summer between Sophomore and Junior year… sunglasses on and wind in their hair… little did she know that the day she spent boating with family friends would have such an impact on her life. Turns out the boy who’d try to impress her with his wakeboarding skills was also the boy who’d become her husband.

Tyler and Tayler spent every weekend together that summer. By the time school started in the fall they were a “thing”. Two high school kids, living small town life in Wyoming and learning about life, love, and the world in general.

Almost exactly 6 years later, now adults, grown, and more in love than ever, Tyler took Tayler back to that special lake where their story began. Turns out the stars were aligned literally… and a total eclipse was scheduled to take place during their anniversary, directly above the spot they first met. In the presence of both of their families, surrounded by clear waters, and a solar eclipse above, Tyler got down on one knee and asked Tayler to be his wife.

Together these two are living the dream. Travelling, hiking, cooking and laughing together, and of course lake days with family and friends. Life is sweet and these two are making it even sweeter.

Tyler & Tayler,

THANK YOU for letting us document your beautiful wedding day! It was a joy to celebrate your love story last summer and I wish you all the best with your adventures together! Love & Appreciation, ~M

Wedding planning advice from the newlyweds:

“A big piece of advice is you can never have enough “day of” helpers. There was always something for someone to do to make our day amazing. You can trust that these people want the best for you and will do everything that they can to make it amazing. Another huge help for us was we started planning very early. We had over a year to figure things out after we started planning and we can’t imagine how much tougher it would have been to make it happen with less time. Lastly we never thought that we would need to hire a wedding planner/coordinator, but Tyler’s Aunt had past experience in wedding coordination and offered to help out. She really helped resolve a lot of the stress that could have been there on the day of the wedding and ensured that the timeline ran smoothly, paid vendors, and offered suggestions.” – Tayler & Tyler
