Guys, I understand that i’m THE WORST at blogging. Lately its been months between posts and i’ve got a backlog of amazing clients and photos to share.

If you’re still here looking and reading, from the bottom of my heart I thank you for sticking with me.

I would like to say that i’m turning over a new leaf and it will never happen again. But I wont lie, it might happen again! I’ll just say for now that i’m trying to improve. Its a goal. I have many. <3

I recently took a trip to Northern California, on one of the first day of my trips I had some time to kill and found this amazing small family farm and store in Waterloo, CA.  Driving through this town and stepping into this store was like stepping out of time.  I loved every minute of it.

Cherries were in season and when I saw them on that brilliant blue countertop, I nearly died.

I felt like a criminal photographing the cherry trees. Even though I captured these from the road and never touched the trees, I got quite a few dirty looks and I was sure to make it quick! Also, I took the last two images using free-lensing which was new for me and super fun!

Even though I LOVED exploring the farmlands of North Cali, the absolutely best part of my trip was seeing my much missed family and loved ones!

My beautiful Mom was my partner in exploration and the person who encouraged me to take the trip. I snapped this portrait of her while exploring an ancient church and graveyard on a beautiful hillside.

For the majority of my trip I stayed with my lovely grandparents in their new home.

Arent they cute?!

I was also very blessed to spend time with my cousins, uncle and aunt. We snapped some casual family portraits in their yard and I LOVE them. Post with those soon to come.

Last, I went to Yosemite and crossed that off my bucket list. That’s a post for another day(I promise).

Thanks for looking, and reading. All my love,

(PS! leave a comment to let me know you’re still here and let me know which pic is your fave!)
