There was something special and unique about this day.
Sarah and Will aren’t finicky. They wanted a day they could celebrate love and enjoy their family and friends. So that’s what they did. He adjusted his straw hat as in the next building over, her mom buttoned up her lace dress. She wore flats, he wore boots, and under a big cottonwood tree the would see each other for the first time on their wedding day. Their puppy jumped for joy as Wil smiled wide at his beautiful bride.
Later they would wed under an arch that Wil & his favorite guys made just days before. The sun shone through clouds…. and the skies poured hail down just as they were pronounced as husband and wife!! You’d think a moment like that would dampen spirits but it had the opposite effect. As we all ran through the pounding sleet/rain/hail towards the tent, laughter was the loudest sound. Moments later, breathless, soaking wet, and happier than ever, Sarah and Wil would seal their ceremony with a kiss, and the cheers of family and friends echoed through the hills.
Sarah & Wil,
Thank you for letting me document and witness this beautiful day. Together you two are living the kind of life that most people only dream of…. full of love and appreciation for life’s blessings. What an honor to meet you and I know that together you two will find nothing but joy and happiness in the promises you made to each other this day. Love & Appreciation, ~M
